Career Pathways Coordinator; Grant Funded

Position: Career Pathways Coordinator (Grant Funded)
The Career Pathways Coordinator will work with internal and external stakeholders to increase enrollment, experiential learning, and student success for individuals enrolled in IT career pathways, including both credit and noncredit alternatives. The individual will work with partnering employers and community organizations to identify educational gaps and barriers for identified populations, and work with the Center for Workforce Development, the Office of Career and Transfer Services, and other areas of the college to increase access to education and student supports.

The Career Pathways Coordinator will work collaboratively with the college community, external college partners, employers, and other members of the community to successfully implement related programs. The individual will use independent judgement while taking initiative in the preparation and completion of assignments.

Qualifications - Education

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

Qualifications - Experience

3 years of experience in project management with supervisory skills. Previous experience with federal grants, student and career services, and data management is desired.

Qualifications - Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related programs, excellent computer skills, good phone skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, good communications skills, ability to work under pressure, sensitivity in handling confidential information. Proven track record of goal attainment.

Work Hours

8:30 - 4:30 with some evenings and weekends required.
