Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 6:30pm or 3:00pm - 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs

• Apple Montessori Schools is an IACET Accredited Provider and offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
