Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Architect. The ideal candidate should be a licensed architect or on track to become one, and will be a key player in design, coordination, and documentation efforts. Y

Responsibilities

* Apply sound architectural and design techniques, methodology, and principles to all work products.

* Complete construction drawings using Revit.

* Demonstrate competency in preparing all phases of documentation.

* Generate finished plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.

* Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing work assignments of each project team.

* Liaise with external consultants and engineers, incorporating engineering specifications with architectural design.

* Multi-task by working on a range of projects from new buildings to renovations and alterations.

* Develop programming documentation and preliminary designs as needed.

* Attend pre-proposal meetings and contribute input into the scope of work and services for new proposals.

* Act as a self-motivated and energetic leader, collaborating closely with others.

Essential Skills

* Must be able to produce construction drawings.

* 100% proficient using Revit.

* Experience in healthcare, institutional, educational, or large-scale commercial projects.

* Proficient with AutoCAD.

* Understanding of construction drawings, documents, and details.

* Experience in schematic design (SD), design development (DD), and construction administration.

* Knowledge of wall sections, details, and construction drawings.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Licensed Architect or on track to becoming licensed.

* 4-12 years of architectural experience, with experience in K-12 projects for SDA.

* Ability to manage technical aspects of projects from inception through completion.

* Experience with all project phases from concept through construction administration.

* Architectural Degree required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
