To get you started on the right foot, this position includes a required in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility before transitioning to your permanent role in Randolph.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing our local operations, blending technical skill with a proactive mindset to ensure our new facility remains cutting-edge and efficient. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to industry best practices and Cambria’s high standards of excellence.

This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on heavy mobile equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with the installation and repair of various systems and equipment on large mobile equipment.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Perform preventive maintenance tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including wheel loaders, haul trucks, and other large machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
* Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy mobile equipment.
* Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
* Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
* Document all maintenance activities into CMMS system
* Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
* Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical parts are readily available.
* Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.

* Qualifications and Skills:

*** Technical degree in Heavy Construction equipment, Diesel mechanics,  a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated and mechanical systems
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer proficiency for trouble shooting and documentation.
* Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications
