Case Manager Registered Nurse – May Institute

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our board certified behavior analysts, educators, and other healthcare professionals to craft personalized treatment plans for our incredible kiddos with ASD.
  • Conduct assessments of clients’ medical histories and developmental needs to guide treatment planning.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and care, ensuring the safety and well‑being of our patients.
  • Monitor patients’ health and behavior during the school day, and intervene at the first sign of trouble.
  • Educate families with knowledge and skills needed to support their child’s journey beyond the classroom.
  • Partner with external healthcare providers such as pediatricians, psychologists, and specialists to provide integrated care.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment interventions.
  • Share expertise in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • 1–3 years of clinical experience in pediatric or school nursing, preference for experience with developmental disabilities.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Flexibility, empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
