Case Manager Registered Nurse – May Institute

Responsibilities- Collaborate with our board certified behavior analysts, educators, and other healthcare professionals to craft personalized treatment plans for our incredible kiddos with ASD.
- Conduct assessments of clients’ medical histories and developmental needs to guide treatment planning.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and care, ensuring the safety and well‑being of our patients.
- Monitor patients’ health and behavior during the school day, and intervene at the first sign of trouble.
- Educate families with knowledge and skills needed to support their child’s journey beyond the classroom.
- Partner with external healthcare providers such as pediatricians, psychologists, and specialists to provide integrated care.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment interventions.
- Share expertise in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- 1–3 years of clinical experience in pediatric or school nursing, preference for experience with developmental disabilities.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Flexibility, empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
