Department Manager – McDonald's (Franchise)

Join to apply for the Department Manager role at McDonald's. This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee will be your employer, responsible for all employment matters.

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Oversee the Guest Service Department: deliver great experience, coordinate sales promotions, train staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru.
• Oversee the Kitchen Department: ensure quality, safety, food cost control, and staff training on production procedures.
• Oversee the People Department: hire qualified crew, train and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and acknowledge and motivate employees.
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and fast‑paced working environment.

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail or hospitality.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned restaurants.

Pay Ranges $16.50 to 18.00 per hour.
