• Performs carpentry responsibilities throughout the hospital and offsite locations: includes installation, construction, and repairs to all carpentry related to renovation and new installation projects. MONDAY-FRIDAY 6 AM TO 2:30 PM, NO WEEKENDS OR CALL

• Performs carpentry tasks for repair and installation to assemblies, casework, shelving, partitions, etc.
• Varnish, paint, stain or apply any type of finish that is necessary to finish carpentry tasks.
• Perform drywall installation and finishing, minor floor repairs and installs, and installation of suspended ceiling system as directed.
• Installation of hardware such as locks, closures, etc.
• Prepare opening, layout functions, and install all types of doors and related hardware.
• Maintains patient confidentiality, privacy and demonstrates actions that indicate an understanding of patient rights.
• Performs fire/disaster duties as specified in policy and procedure manual.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety requirements as evidenced by reporting methods.
• Inspects the facility during the performance of duties and identifies issues to the appropriate person.
• Communicates to supervisor and office staff appropriately identifying problems encountered, priorities and needs.
• Ability to read design drawings.
• Assists other trades such as plumbers, carpenters, etc. as needed.
• Cleans equipment, tools and other related areas.
• Ability to follow blueprints and perform tasks from such.
• Moves furniture and supplies from one place to another.

• Education:
  
  HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, Must be hard working, punctual and honest
• Licensure:
  Must have full MD Driver's license and good driving record

The Maintenance Shop is located at Sinai Hospital, but could be traveling to any Life Bridge Health entity in the company vehicle.
