Overview
Provides hospital-level leadership and operational oversight to the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner Team, ensuring high performance and excellence in educational programs across Life Bridge Health. The supervisor manages, develops, and evaluates team members; coordinates daily and long-term priorities; and serves as an NPD Specialist who designs, implements, and evaluates evidence-based education aligned to ANA NPD Scope and Standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
The NPD Supervisor supports hospital-wide and organizational education initiatives, functioning as a learning facilitator, mentor, advisor, and partner in advancing quality improvement, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Provide hospital-level leadership and operational oversight to the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner Team.
- Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based education aligned to ANA NPD Scope and Standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate daily and long-term priorities for the NPD team and initiatives.
- Act as a learning facilitator, mentor, advisor, and partner in advancing quality improvement and patient care.
- Required:
4-5 years - 3-5 years in nursing education required
- 1-2 years in nursing leadership preferred
- Required:
Master of Science in Nursing
- Required:
Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license - Basic Life Support
- APRN-Clinical Nurse Specialist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
