Laboratory Technician

Overview

Under supervision receives and processes patients’ specimens (blood, urine, spinal and other fluids) for laboratory testing. Serves as the front line representative of the laboratory.

• Communicates effectively with members of patient care team and other hospital staff.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Continually supports the Mission, Vision and Service Philosophy of Life Bridge Health and the Hospital.
• Communicates openly and honestly on all issues related to operations.
• Accurately and completely documents patient demographic information where required by departmental policies and procedures.

Shifts are every other weekend Friday-Monday
