Salary Range $16.94-$22.70/HR. Please note that the salary range has the potential to change and may be modified in the future, taking into consideration market conditions.

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
- Responsible for transporting residents, utilizing a wheelchair, recliner chair or other chair on wheels, to and from therapy, in a timely manner, minimizing the resident waiting time.
- Ensures resident safety upon return to the room to include but not limited to ensuring call bell is within reach, locking wheelchair brakes and notifying nursing personnel of the patient's return.
- Prepares treatment areas and equipment for use, cleans with approved cleaning solution between resident use.
- Provides non-clinical support to the licensed professionals to enable them to effectively perform their duties.
- Communicates any patient concerns promptly to the treating therapist.
- Performs routine non-clinical patient care tasks.
- Gait practice and ambulation
- Functional activities (ADL's)
- Transfers for physical therapy
- Routine follow-up of specific physical therapy exercises
- Hot or cold packs
- Whirlpool
- Contrast baths
- Paraffin baths
- Developmental stimulation
- Orders and maintains inventory supplies.
- Completes paperwork and updates patient files.
- Answers telephones, schedules appointments and responds to patient inquiries.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Ability to assist with physical tasks such as transporting patients.
- Must be detailed oriented, with the ability to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with therapists, employees, and patients.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced and high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with computers and software to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.
