Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
- Inform guests about current promotions, store activities and events.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
- Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
- Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Explain features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
- Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
- Handle returns following policy; collaborate with a leader as needed to resolve guest needs.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage inventory tasks as needed.
- Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and DU returns with adherence to policies, including adult beverage laws where applicable.
- All other duties based on business needs.

- You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays).

- Ability to educate guests about products and services.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment; communicate across multiple devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within set time frames.
- Accurately handle checkout operations and, when needed, support cash office tasks.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; may lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance required.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and environments during job duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
