Your Day at Lowe's As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. Daily responsibilities may vary by department; you will spend most of your time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise.

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and organizing displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi-lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; however, it may involve travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. You may work indoors or outdoors in varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises and to moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting limitations apply: single lifts up to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds.

Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training.
