Leapros has been engaged by a recreational services organization based in Orange County, CA to fill an Accounts Receivable Supervisor role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to mentor and develop a team of 3 in an employee-first work environment!
POSITION TITLE:
Accounts Receivable Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
The A/R Supervisor reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable staff, daily operations, accounting processes, and financial analysis across multiple legal entities. This position includes ownership of the Replenishment sales program and requires demonstrated leadership abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capability to manage a team while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely collections in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute weekly AR to GL interface processes for three legal entities
- Complete AR subledger closings and reconcile to General Ledger for three legal entities
- Review AR aging reports, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely resolution
- Lead periodic AR aging reviews with Management and Sales teams
- Oversee payment recording for all AR-related activities
- Perform collection duties for assigned accounts
- Execute weekly/monthly Revenue Share payment programs for two legal entities
- Process monthly Intercompany entries accurately and timely
- Supervise and provide guidance to AR department staff
- Identify system improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Document processes and procedures to ensure operational consistency
- Collaborate with Sales teams (Territory Directors and Regional Managers), Customer Service, and IT departments to resolve issues and support operations
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Knowledge of AR practices and related office policies and procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and business principles
- Supervisory experience required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required (LOOKUPs, PIVOT tables, advanced formulas)
PAY TRANSPARENCY: A reasonable estimate of the available {annual or hourly} pay scale for this position is: $75,000-$80,000 per year. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
