Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pain Management position in a high-volume procedural unit requiring a CA RN license and recent procedural experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Pain Management procedural unit with 10 pre/post beds and 2 procedure rooms,

• Adult patient population ages 18 and older receiving interventional pain management procedures,

• Typical census is approximately 40 patients daily with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3,

• Primarily day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with variable starts based on daily surgical cases,

• No weekends, call, or holiday shifts required,

• Floating may be required between Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs locations, based on skill level,

• Uses EPIC charting system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in procedural, pain management, PACU, or OR settings,

• Recent experience in high-volume procedural areas preferred,

• Pain management, PACU, or OR nurse experience preferred,

• No first-time travelers will be considered for this position,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing nursing care before, during, and after interventional pain management procedures,

• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, procedural environment with up to 45 procedures daily,

• Black scrubs without emblems are required; scrubs are not provided,

• References from supervisors within the last 2 years are required for consideration,

• Orientation and training provided for unit-specific procedures,
