- Responsible for leading, directing and controlling children while at Kids Camp.
- Maintain a safe environment for the children involved in Kids Camp.
- Carry out proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.
- Help children with the day’s activities and crafts; understand your role in the day’s activities.
- Energetically participate in the camp’s activities.
- Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance.
- Greet and converse with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain clear communication with essential departments.
- Actively participate in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all programs.
- Assist with general resort duties as assigned.
- Treat everyone—managers, associates and guests—with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Assist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment (sweeping, mopping, tidying, and inventory tracking).
- Cross-utilize in all areas of recreation when scheduled.
- Complete daily checklists in their entirety.
- Properly complete recreation-related agreements as needed and maintain deck space daily.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the deck space and organize chairs and lounge areas.
- Maintain and clean equipment used to service the deck.
- Respectfully assist guests.
- Collect deck litter and remove full trash bins.
- Perform other duties as assigned and attend all required safety training.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work with guests of all ages.
- Previous child care experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid/AED holder preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
- Must have a flexible schedule; ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Trust Line certification preferred.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions and around the pool.
- Stand and walk for extended periods (required for client site tours, event days, etc.).
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
Pay: $17/hour. The pay scale provided is a range Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications and/or experience.
