Role Description

We are seeking a Certified Orthopedic Technologist to join our team on a 13‑week assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic physicians and PAs, assisting in patient care and procedures while ensuring a professional and efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED (higher degree accepted).
  • Certification: Orthopedic Tech Certification (required), American Heart Association BLS (required).
  • Experience: Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with casting, splinting, braces, and external fixators.
  • Support patient intake, rooming, charting, and documentation.
  • Apply orthopedic devices for patients of all ages.
  • Perform suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and schedule tests.
  • Maintain treatment areas and exam rooms.
  • Manage patient flow and assist with surgery documentation, orders, and consents.
  • Process DME applications when needed.
  • Stay current with new techniques and equipment through continuing education.
