Responsibilities:
Demonstrates compliance with the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns, and reports suspected violations.Conducts physician visits within the EMA provider network.Cultivates positive and productive relationships with providers, managers, clinical and office staff.Meets education and audit schedules as identified.Presents monthly alerts on current trends or new CMS regulations.Identifies provider needs promptly and initiates follow-up actions.Complies with EMC expense reimbursement policies and submits expense reports timely.Responsible for coding and coordinates with coding vendors, reviewing audit reports before presenting to providers.Identifies revenue integrity concerns and opportunities through data analysis, collaborating with physicians on follow-up actions.Coordinates with departmental directors to ensure timely submission of charges.Reviews and distributes provider audit reports and provides statistical analysis to management.Prepares monthly summary reports for the Director, Clinic Billing Services, highlighting key initiatives and concerns.Facilitates communication between the Revenue Cycle team and providers, monitoring follow-up actions.Assists with onboarding of new providers, residents, and fellows regarding documentation and coding processes.Maintains a daily schedule and provides weekly activity summaries to management.Performs additional duties as assigned.Researches CMS guidelines and updates relevant to service lines.Coordinates educational sessions for various provider types.Works flexible shifts and hours as needed.Utilizes strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Understands physician practice workflows including front, in-room, and back-office processes.Demonstrates personal initiative, confidence, and knowledge of EMR and Billing systems.Manages time effectively and organizes tasks efficiently.Works independently and travels within a 50-mile radius daily.Prepares and distributes reports, demonstrating excellent documentation and data analysis skills.Maintains awareness of medical insurance policies, contracts, and provider requirements.Builds strong relationships and communicates effectively in writing and orally.Understands general medical office workflows.Benefits:
