Housekeeper-EVS; Professional Office Buildings

Responsible for regular cleaning and general upkeep of patient, public, and office areas, including nurse’s stations, restrooms, treatment rooms, lounges, and other ancillary areas.

This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in healthcare environments, responding to emergency cleaning needs, managing supplies, and supporting patient observation as directed by nursing staff.

• Ensures compliance with the Code of Conduct and organizational policies, reporting concerns or violations appropriately.
• Cleans patient rooms and associated ancillary areas.
• Responds to emergency cleaning requests from nursing or Environmental Services.
• Maintains cleaning supplies and equipment, refilling and returning items as needed.
• Notifies nursing supervisors of room readiness and maintenance issues.
• Empties sharps containers and maintains departmental policies.
• Provides patient observation and communicates patient condition changes to nursing staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
