Housekeeper-Environmental Services

Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, you have access to resort-style living and world-class amenities throughout Southern California.

Responsible for regular cleaning and general upkeep of patient, public, and office areas, including ancillary areas such as nurse’s stations, restrooms, treatment rooms, lounges, etc.

Experience:

• Ensures compliance with Code of Conduct and policies, reports violations.
• Cleans patient rooms and associated areas.
• Responds to emergencies as assigned by nursing or Environmental Services.
• Maintains cleaning supplies and replenishes paper and other materials.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and supplies at shift end.
• Notifies nursing staff when rooms are ready for new admissions.
• Reports maintenance issues to EVS department.
• Empties sharps containers and maintains departmental policies.
• Provides patient observation as directed and communicates patient condition changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, procedures, and products.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
