Job Responsibilities

Demonstrate compliance with the Code of Conduct and compliance policies; take action to resolve questions or concerns and report suspected violations.

Maintain sound independent judgment; analyze problems or procedures and select appropriate actions to ensure system availability and functionality.

Act as liaison and team lead between departments and IS technical personnel; communicate effectively with IS staff, vendors, and users to identify needs, modifications, and issues.

Work collaboratively with vendors and users to review and document system changes, facilitating communication between IS personnel and vendors.

Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, productivity, financial outcomes, and relations; assess current systems and processes independently.

Coordinate and manage system upgrades and maintenance for assigned departments; provide technical support to expert users.

Participate in committees and meetings concerning department and patient care issues.

Assist in planning and developing departmental requirements for future products.

Follow PMO guidelines on projects; utilize PMO tools for management and communication; ensure proper documentation.

Update open service requests weekly; communicate updates to requestors.

Analyze user-requested programming changes; document requests; facilitate communication per change control policies.

Work with vendors to review and document system changes; lead communications between IS staff and vendors; ensure documentation is complete.

Utilize project management skills to work with various stakeholders.

Provide regular written and oral project status reports.

Work as a lead team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Manage communication of availability and contacts during absences.

Support management with administrative tasks as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Conceptualize, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage major departmental programs or functions.

Possess documented knowledge of PMO methodology and tools.

Analyze complex systems and workflows effectively.

Understand healthcare environment and operations.

Maintain positive interpersonal relations with peers, users, and vendors.

Handle confrontations professionally and resolve disputes appropriately.

Possess working knowledge of healthcare applications.

Engage actively in complex discussions on challenging topics.

Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.

Train and teach clinical staff effectively.

Work collaboratively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
