Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong sales skills with a technical or engineering background and enjoys working closely with customers. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and translating technical solutions into value-driven sales strategies that support revenue growth.

• Develop tender and proposal strategies, including coordinating and reviewing key components with headquarters.
• Evaluate tenders and proposals, manage clarifications, and determine next steps.
• Assess sales opportunities and create effective engagement plans.
• Identify, capture, and qualify leads, converting them into viable sales opportunities.
• Plan and execute cross-sell and upsell strategies, prioritizing high-impact opportunities.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage sales quotations from submission to final disposition.
• Handle contract amendments, suspensions, early terminations, and renewals as needed.
• Investigate sales-related events and validate findings to support informed decision-making.
• Gather market trends, competitor insights, and sales intelligence to strengthen strategies.
• Act as a key link between sales and technical teams, ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and addressed throughout the sales cycle.

• Proven sales experience, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
• Strong ability to identify business opportunities and develop long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
