Membership Sales Consultant

Overview

Membership Sales Consultant at Gold's Gym SoCal Group. The role focuses on guiding potential members, explaining facility offerings, and converting inquiries into memberships while delivering world-class service.

• Tour potential members, describe facility, equipment, services, and amenities, aligning recommendations with individual fitness goals.
• Register guests and manage system entries; present membership and fitness offers clearly using provided tools.
• Sign up guests using company sales techniques and adhere to Membership Agreement Procedures.
• On-board new members and support retention activities to drive club profitability.
• Consistently achieve or exceed personal and team sales goals; generate leads from within the community and through internal channels.
• Set appointments for leads and opportunities; partner with the Membership Sales Manager to provide a member-centric experience.
• Engage members with various fitness offerings (personal training, group classes, digital content).
• Maintain positive member relationships and escalate questions or concerns to the appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.

• Positive, upbeat attitude with hospitality and service excellence focus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Fitness industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, listening, planning, and organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification; college degree preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods; professional appearance and demeanor required.

• Compensation: $16.50 - $17.87 per hour
