You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You are expected to engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to contact attempts or do not work a shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. After a position offer, you will attend Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule.

The myTime app is used to pick up desired shifts.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Share information about brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with fulfillment services and how to direct enrollment and use.
• Explain Wallet and other Target App features to guests.
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate to leaders as needed.
• De-escalate situations and recover guest shopping experiences per policies.
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Operate in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner; report hazards as required.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive Up orders and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws.
• Assist with Cash Office processes as needed.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurate cash handling and support for cash office operations as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible shift availability to meet store needs.
• Active engagement by picking up shifts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or be terminated.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and environments as required by duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Mobility for the duration of shifts.
