Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare quality food that tastes great and is consistent from day-to-day, following Wingstop standards for sauce, seasoning, and packaging of all orders.
- Ensure safe cooking procedures and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Process order tickets quickly and accurately; count Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, Boneless Strips, and fries per order.
- Coordinate cooking times for wings, strips, and fries with the corresponding timer; manage multiple components to complete orders efficiently.
- Cook and prepare Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, Boneless Strips, and Fries in the proper fryers and baskets.
- Filter and refresh fryer shortening daily, following safety procedures and using proper safety equipment.
- Keep the kitchen clean during the shift and at closing time; assist other employees as needed.
- Immediately notify Manager on Duty of all safety, sanitation, or employee issues.
- Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor; understand the importance of good hygiene and food handling practices.
- Understand and follow instructions for safely using chemical cleaning products.
- Guest service mentality with a genuine desire to serve the customer.
- Calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with urgency and follow-through.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Ongoing learner with curiosity and an interest in self-improvement.
- Outgoing personality and strong work ethic.
- Cook and restaurant experience is a plus.
- Food Handler Certification required.
