We're looking for a hands‑on Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our inspection team, and maintain compliance with top industry standards.
About the RoleThe Quality Assurance Supervisor will guide the QA inspection team, manage day‑to‑day inspection operations, and maintain compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards. You will play a key role in audits, New Product Introduction (NPI/FAI), process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and sales.
You will also be hands‑on in conducting inspections, supporting your team, and ensuring quality checks are executed accurately and consistently.
What You’ll Do- Serve as a working supervisor
, performing inspections alongside your team (incoming, in‑process, and final). - Lead, train, and mentor QA and inspection personnel.
- Manage non‑conforming material, documentation, and reporting.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer audits, ISO/AS audits, and NADCAP-related compliance activities.
- Coordinate and execute NPI/FAI inspections and review customer requirements.
- Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve workflows and product outcomes.
- Maintain and support CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO
9001, AS9100, IPC standards, MIL specs, GMP, and customer‑specific requirements. - Support Approved Supplier List (ASL) qualification efforts and supplier quality processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QA department
- NADCAP experience a PLUS (aerospace, defense, or related industries).
- Strong knowledge of ISO
9001/AS9100, IPC‑610/830, MIL standards, GMP, and QMS principles. - Hands‑on experience performing inspections using measurement tools, drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with Parylene vacuum deposition or conformal coating processes is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and work with ERP and office software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Competitive salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
