We're seeking someone with niche experience in green roof construction, who can bring both strategic oversight and hands‑on leadership to a complex, high‑end build. You'll work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams to deliver excellence from preconstruction through closeout.

Your solid background in complex construction projects, and specific experience in green roof systems, including surface preparation, waterproofing, coatings, and environmental compliance, will play a pivotal role in delivering one of F.D. Thomas’s most innovative and sustainability‑focused builds.

• Lead project planning and execution for a high‑profile green roof construction initiative, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and client expectations.
• Serve as the face of FD Thomas’s Southern California division, representing the company in client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and community interactions.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee green roof system installation, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, waterproofing protocols, and structural requirements.
• Monitor project performance, track milestones, and proactively address risks, delays, or budget variances.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
