Janitor Day Porter

Cross streets: 210 Freeway and Haven off-ramp. / YOU WILL BE WORKING OUTSIDE / RAIN OR SHINE

Schedule (4-hour shift) 5 days

Monday through Friday, Shift Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Must be on time)

Pay: $17.00 per hour

PART-TIME:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be crucial in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

• To maintain cleanliness in designated areas, perform routine cleaning tasks, including restrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, blowing debris, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the BBQs
• Conducted facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and equipment upkeep.
• Provide custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the facility/Campus.
• Regularly inspect facilities for maintenance needs and report issues to management.
• ABLE TO WORK OUTSIDE. RAIN OR SHINE.

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred, with 2-3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Able to cover when someone is sick during the weekdays.
