Position Summary

Senior Data Governance Specialist

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid)

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and policies across healthcare datasets.
• Utilize Azure Purview for data cataloging, lineage tracking, classification, and metadata management.
• Design and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS to ingest, transform, and manage healthcare payer data.
• Work closely with business users, data stewards, and compliance teams to align governance efforts with business objectives.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Define and enforce standards for data access, usage, and retention across the organization.

• Strong experience in data management, governance, or data engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Purview in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in SSIS and ETL pipeline development.
• In-depth healthcare domain experience
  , specifically with payer data (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.).
• Proven track record of working closely with business users and translating data governance requirements into actionable solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
