Overview
TEAM Physical Therapy is looking for a dynamic Physical Therapy Aide to provide support to our licensed physical therapists and exceptional care to our patients.

- Demonstrate exercise
- Organize, prepare equipment, and clean treatment areas as necessary
- Prepare pre-treatment heat and ice packs when necessary
- Prepare patient binders for home exercise including photos
- Perform administrative tasks
- Observes strict confidentiality of patient & TEAM’s private information.
- Demonstrate proficient time management skills.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, operation of standard office equipment
- Operation of computer, MS Office, keyboard, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment
- Verbal and written communication to effectively interact with co-workers and patients.
- Must be detail oriented, professional, and reliable.
- Ability to learn and successfully use specialized software applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to be compassionate and patient-focused
- Ability to maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA and Team policy.
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
- Ability to take direction and follow accepted practices and procedures
- Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Bachelor’s degree in health science, exercise, or sports medicine (preferred)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Understanding of basic principles of infection control
- While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands, speak, and hear, see at close vision and bend.
- Work is performed in an energetic office environment.
