• Live our purpose by managing patient health through safe dispensing, counseling and immunizing practices.
• Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator; act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by directing the pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day‑to‑day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist‑on‑duty.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver empathy, authentic care and collaborate with the patient’s total health care team, proactively resolving insurance or medication issues.
• Offer and deliver immunizations; engage Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, guiding the team on best practices, especially protecting cold chain products.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs while contributing to a safe, inclusive, engaging team dynamic.
• Maintain relevant clinical and technical skills, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge.
• Support pharmacist‑delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services (e.g., COVID/Flu, Hormonal Contraception) where permissible.
• Understand and comply with all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards and ethical principles; comply with CVS Health policies and procedures, controlled substance dispensing and record‑keeping, privacy and security, and maintain a safe, inclusive workplace.

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
