Verdantas is seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer II to contribute to geotechnical investigations, design, and analysis for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. The role requires a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.
What You'll Do- Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
- Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
- Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
- Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
- Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
- Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
- Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution with a focus on geotechnical engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- CAD experience a plus
- Strong calculation skills preferred
- The ability to interpret work plans
$80,000–$92,000
