Verdantas is seeking a talented
** Geotechnical Engineer II
** to join our team in the
** Rancho Cucamonga
** office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment. As part of our collaborative and innovative team, you will contribute to geotechnical investigations, design, and analysis for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do:
* Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
* Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
* Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
* Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
* Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
* Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
* Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
* Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills

What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Institution with a focus on geotechnical engineering
* 2-5 years of relevant work experience
* CAD experience a plus
* Strong calculation skills preferred
* The ability to interpret work plans
** Salary Range:**$80,000-$92,000
