Overview
Chaffey College is seeking applicants for a possible teaching opportunity in the Social Science Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Social Science Instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview. Evaluation of applicants will start immediately and the position is open until filled.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Social Science, OR
- The equivalent; AND
- Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.

CompensationPart-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
