Overview

Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Automotive Technology Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Automotive Technology instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience; OR
• Associate degree and six years of professional experience; OR
• The equivalent; AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced knowledge of engine machining practices and the use of engine machining equipment.
