Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool to teach interior design at the Chino Campus. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Interior Design instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

• A Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience; or
• An Associate's degree and six years of professional experience; or
• A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an Interior Design Instructor in a California Community College; or
• The equivalent; and
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

Meeting minimum qualifications does not assure the candidate of an interview. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.

• CID, NCIDQ, or AIA association.
• Knowledge of industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Chief Architect, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or 3D rendering software.
• Experience in residential, commercial, and/or kitchen and bath design.

Part‑time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non‑instructional rate schedules.
