Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the History department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for History instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

PLEASE NOTE:

Assignment may include teaching in person/on campus and at the California Institution for Women (CIW) and the California Institution for Men in Chino (CIM).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s in history; OR
• Bachelor’s in history; AND Master’s in political science, humanities, geography, area studies, women’s studies, social science or ethnic studies; OR
• The equivalent; AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

If identified as a potential candidate for an open course, you may be contacted by a District representative.
COMPENSATION Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
