Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Communicating and interacting with guests to build an welcoming guest experienceBlending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concernsAdapting to different guest interactions and situationsPromoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and servicesAs a Guest Advocate, No Two Days Are Ever The Same, But a Typical Day Will Most Likely Include The Following Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standardCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasksWhen guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needsMake the guest aware of current promos, store activities and eventsBe knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experienceThank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at TargetKnow and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as neededScan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practicesWork efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracyUnderstand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including WalletBe familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these featuresAttempt every return and follow register prompts; partner with immediate Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Target’s policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, clutter free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removalStock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guestDemonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and complianceWork in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possibleSupport guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage lawsAll other duties based on business needsWhat We Are Looking For
