Role OverviewThe Commercial Insurance Sales Team Manager role is a full-time, onsite leadership position overseeing a team of up to 8-12 members who function in a sales capacity. The ideal candidate seeks to be a front-line leader, with a compensation package commensurate to that role.
Location:
Rancho Cordova, California or Roseville, California (onsite presence in Rancho Cordova for 2-3 days per week).
- Lead, motivate, inspire, and cultivate talent within the organization.
- Create reports and surface metrics on team and individual performance.
- Set goals for the team and provide training and support to help team members meet those goals.
- Protect the best interests of both our clients and insurance company partners.
- Generate and participate in process improvement efforts.
- Appropriately document actions.
- Act with professionalism, understanding the importance of both a sales and a services mindset.
- Insurance Experience – Active Property & Casualty License required, along with experience in the industry directly involving insurance sales (ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience).
- Leadership – Prior leadership experience required.
- Multi-tasking – Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
- Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner.
- Team Oriented – Ability to work as part of a team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
