Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to join our bioanalytical laboratory team in Rancho Cordova, CA. The position offers a 6-month contract with the potential for hire and involves supporting daily laboratory operations related to clinical and regulated bioanalytical work. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to regulated bioanalysis and clinical study support.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare reagents, buffers, and lab solutions according to established SOPs.
+ Support wet chemistry laboratory activities in a regulated environment.
+ Complete paper-based documentation, including batch records, logs, and controlled forms.
+ Assist with Quality Control (QC) activities and receive structured training in regulated workflows.
+ Support laboratory operations tied to clinical sample analysis and study work.
+ Maintain organized lab work spaces and follow data integrity and compliance requirements.
+ Assist with application-based laboratory tasks as assigned.
+ Follow all laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline.
+ Wet chemistry laboratory experience (academic or professional).
+ Attention to detail and comfort working in a high documentation, paper-based environment.
+ Ability to follow SOPs and work in a regulated lab setting.
+ Dependable, organized, and eager to learn in a team-based environment.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Exposure to mass spectrometry (LC MS/MS) through coursework, internships, or lab experience.
+ Familiarity with QC, GLP, GMP, or clinical laboratory environments.
+ CRO or clinical lab experience.
+ Strong written documentation skills.
Work Environment
The lab operates in a regulated, paper-based environment with a focus on data integrity and compliance. Working hours are scheduled from Tuesday to Friday for 32 hours per week, with potential expansion to 40 hours as training progresses. The lab is equipped with advanced scientific tools and offers hands-on training in Quality Control processes, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
