Junior Accountant supports the accounting department by managing daily financial tasks like data entry, processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts (AR/AP), and preparing basic financial reports (balance sheets, income statements) under senior supervision, requiring strong detail-orientation, basic accounting knowledge, and software skills (Excel, Quick Books/Tally).

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:
Posting journal entries, updating accounts payable/receivable, handling petty cash, and maintaining accurate ledgers.

Financial Reporting:
Assisting with monthly/quarterly reports, balance sheets, and income statements.

Reconciliation:
Performing bank reconciliations and reconciling accounts.

Invoice & Payment Processing:
Receiving, processing, and verifying invoices and expense reports.

Audit Support:
Assisting senior staff with internal and external audits.

Tax Support:
Helping with tax preparation and ensuring compliance. Essential Skills &

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (Tally, Quick Books).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, organization, communication, and ability to work in a team. What They Do:
