Garden Centre Shop Manager

Duties

• Supporting Centre Manager
• Quality customer service.
• Displaying & merchandising of a variety of products.
• Management of department staff.
• Duty Manager and key holder responsibilities.
• Ordering stock.
• Cash handling / banking.
• Staff development.

We are currently looking for a Shop Manager to work in our fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive "can do" attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

Please note the successful candidate must be fully flexible in terms of days worked. Management experience in retail is essential for this role. You will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and profitability., Experience in running a shop floor is essential.

• Must be available to work weekends and bank holidays.
