We are currently looking for a Trainee NDT Technician at our Ramsgate site.

To efficiently and effectively deliver the work priorities within the NDT department, undertaking tasks under the direction of the Operations Supervisor or in his absence the Machining and Plating Manager.

• Gaining appropriate training on Non Destructive Testing Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant Inspection of an extensive variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly control checks. Help monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables.
• Maintain the 5S standard required.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with EASA, FAA and company procedures.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations effectively to all employees and external customers/auditors.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Numerate and literate GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• A positive 'can do' attitude with a problem solving mindset
• Motivated
• Ability to communicate
