Conducting business from three sites in the United Kingdom, AEM offers specialist services for in excess of 5,000 components over a variety of aircraft systems with capabilities covering aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment.

In 2007 AEM Limited was acquired by AMETEK Inc, a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices as a unit within AMETEK MRO’s Aerospace and Defense Division, a recognized global provider of third‑party MRO services to commercial, regional and general aviation customers as well as military, helicopter and business jet markets.

We currently have a vacancy for an Inspector at our Ramsgate facility.

• Inspect components from a variety of aircraft platforms, including B737, E190, A319/20 and A321.
• Carrying out intermediate and final inspections.
• Raising and managing concessions through a variety of OEM platforms.
• Holding/work towards certifying duties.
• Booking in work orders.

• Support with the training and development of the inspection team.
• Ensure quality requirements are always met.
• Adhere to industry standard QEHS rules and regulations.

• Achieved relevant skill/competence in required machines/processes.
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and external customers/auditors.
• Ability to work under pressure.
