At Leem Filtration we are looking for a dynamic sales partner to execute all sales. This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Sales - located in Ramsey, NJ. The Director of Sales will lead sales operations, oversee the sales team, and build strategic business development initiatives. Responsibilities include managing client accounts, driving customer service excellence, establishing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and supporting sales growth.
The Director of Sales will also develop long‑term partnerships with clients, promote company products, and play a key role in achieving business objectives. Extensive communication is required with multiple partners for the purpose of gaining team and company performance updates, reporting on sales status regularly, interacting with customers and vendors and for seeking information.
- Gather and evaluate internal and external sales representative leads and orders. All to be tracked in HUBSPOT for sales activities, reporting and forecasting sales.
- Manage our product offerings that range from capital equipment sales to aftermarket parts and services for installed systems.
- Measure productivity and achievement toward sales goals by reviewing sales, activity reports, and other performance data.
- Establish, monitor, maintain, and regularly report on the company’s forecasts and monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
- Analyze sales data and recommend changes to enhance customer satisfaction and future revenue.
- Determine sales aspects requiring cost reduction and improvement.
- Follow up with vendors and customers to secure payment as requested by accounting.
- Plan, direct, collaborate and innovate on sales activities, such as promotions.
- Attend domestic and international trade shows to represent and promote company products and services.
- Create proactive planning to capitalize on industry trends and competition activities.
- Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships as pipelines for product sales.
- Recruit, hire and train sales representatives.
- Experience in the filtration industry, specifically wedge wire and solid‑liquid separation systems (e.g., pressure leaf filters, filter presses, tubular filters).
- Associate’s or greater degree in marketing, sales management or business administration.
- Proven successful experience in sales, management, customer service or related field.
- Possess technical and relative industry knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing a team.
- Experience with ERP and CRM (Hub Spot) systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%.
- Strong command of MS Office 365 products.
- Proven experience in Sales and Sales Operations, including the development and execution of sales strategies.
- Strong skills in Business Development and the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the filtration treatment industry or related fields is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ramsey, NJ, with travel for client meetings and industry events.
