Veterinary Technician - Surgery & Anesthesia

Vantage Veterinary Surgery is a privately-owned, state-of-the-art, outpatient surgery center in Ramsey, NJ. We are the first and only veterinary surgery center in New Jersey. Vantage sees cases by appointment only. We are open Monday through Friday and we are CLOSED nights, weekends, and major holidays. We are NOT a 24/7 emergency hospital, enabling our team to fully focus on our surgical patients without interruption.

We are looking for a Certified / Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT) who has experience with anesthesia and surgery to join our team 3 days a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30am to 7:30pm and one shorter day, either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). This is a full-time role with benefits.

• 3 years experience with veterinary anesthesia and surgery preferred (can be in a specialty, ER, or GP setting)
• Certified / Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT) or completed a vet tech program (license / certification eligible)
• Detail oriented
• Positive, reliable team player (we are a small team and the team dynamic is very important to us)
• Strong client communication skills
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can problem solve
• Ability to work Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30am-7:30pm

• Pay will be determined based on level of surgical / anesthesia experience.
