The Goddard School in Ramsey, NJ is looking for a caring, energetic, and loving teacher to join our team. The role focuses on supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through structured learning activities, play-based learning, and a safe classroom environment.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Teach basic skills.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Observe and assess children’s development and progress.
• Maintain daily routines, including snack time, playtime, and rest periods.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children's development and behavior.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Previous experience working with young children or in childcare settings is often preferred.

• Monday to Friday Full time (hours vary)
