The Goddard School in Ramsey, NJ is looking for a caring, energetic, and loving teacher to join our team. The role focuses on supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through structured learning activities, play‑based learning, and a safe classroom environment.

• Plan and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities

• Teach basic skills
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  .
• Encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence
  .
• Observe and assess children’s development and progress
  .
• Maintain daily routines
  , including snack time, playtime, and rest periods.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children's development and behavior.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies
  .
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Previous experience working with young children or in childcare settings is often preferred.
