Desktop Support Technician (Contract – Through End of June 2026)

Locations: Brooklyn Center, MN / Ramsey, MN

Duration: Contract through end of June (approx. 4 months)

Schedule: Onsite with some flexibility; no after-hours required

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team on a contract basis through the end of June.

You will join a lean, high-functioning IT support team.

This role is ideal for a Level 1 to Level 1.5 support professional who is self-sufficient, customer-focused, and naturally curious. You must be comfortable troubleshooting independently while collaborating with a small team.

• End User Support
• Respond to and resolve Jira support tickets
• Troubleshoot Windows and Mac issues
• Reset passwords and assist with account lockouts
• Provide software access and permissions support
• Diagnose and resolve printing issues
• Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication
• Approximately 60–70% desk-based ticket resolution
• Approximately 30–40% onsite, hands-on troubleshooting
• Hardware & Deployment
• Image and deploy laptops and desktops using established templates
• Install required software based on user role (e.g., Adobe tools for graphics users)
• Maintain and update asset tracking records
• Assist with annual hardware refresh cycles
• Troubleshoot workstation issues in a temperature-controlled production environment
• Replace damaged cables or hardware
• Address printer issues (ink, labels, paper)
• Support equipment impacted by warehouse/production activity

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across office, production, and multi-location environments while making an immediate impact.

The projected hourly range for this position is $24 to $27.
