Equipment Operator - Concrete

• Operate dump trucks to transport crews, supplies, and equipment to job sites
• Assist with concrete repairs, including setup and finishing tasks
• Utilize dump truck with a leaf machine attachment during leaf collection season
• Employ snow removal equipment for operations during inclement weather
• Perform routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
• Less than 1 year of experience in light to medium construction equipment operation or related work, or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Knowledge of standard practices, methods, and materials related to assigned work

• Experience operating specialized equipment relevant to the area of assignment
• Familiarity with occupational hazards and safety guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
